  • Lovely little euro style coffee shop- influenced by Danish and Nordic styles. Food is distinct and delicious. Small bites for the most part, but serving size is appropriate for what you get. Line will be out the door on any day you stop by, you order at the register and take a number for your table, find wherever is open, and then service will come to you with your drinks and food when ready. Patio outside is lovely and has an artificial grass section. Vibe is relaxed and easy. Would recommend for any casual morning out for a quick bite once ordered- line will likely be long but worth it!

  • Café Hagen is a really nice, chill spot for brunch. The vibe is laid-back and perfect if you’re looking for a relaxed weekend morning. The food itself tastes awesome—everything we had was fresh, well-made, and clearly prepared with care. The coffee was also really good, which is always a must for me at a brunch spot. That being said, I do feel the prices are a little on the higher side for the portions and overall value. It’s not a deal-breaker since the food quality is solid, but it’s something to keep in mind. There was a small line to order when I went, but nothing overwhelming, and it moved pretty quickly. Once seated, it was easy to just sit back and enjoy. I’d say Café Hagen is best for when you want a calm brunch experience, good coffee, and fresh food in a casual environment.

  • Café Hagen in South Lake Union is a beautifully designed and cozy spot that feels like a little urban oasis. With plants hanging from the ceiling, leafy corners, and big windows letting in plenty of light, it’s a great place to relax, work, or catch up with a friend. The ambiance is definitely a highlight — soft, upbeat music plays in the background and adds to the peaceful, welcoming vibe. I visited on a weekday morning, hoping for a quiet breakfast, and while the space didn’t disappoint, the service was slower than expected. It took quite a while for our food to arrive, even though it wasn’t too busy at the time. I ordered the avocado toast and the breakfast board. The food was tasty and well presented, but I was a bit surprised to be charged $5 extra for egg and bacon on the avocado toast — especially since it came with just one slice of bacon. Everything had good flavor and felt fresh, but the portions and pricing didn’t quite match up. Overall, Café Hagen is a lovely place with good food, but given the prices, it’s more of an occasional treat than a regular go-to. Still, it’s worth a visit if you’re looking for a relaxing and aesthetically pleasing café experience.

  • Visited on a Sunday, fairly busy but was able to get a table right away. Coffee was great and so was the food! I tried a seasonal flavor and the Salmon mousse toast. There are plants inside and very cozy but rustic feel to it, good vibes to spend time with people or study. Everyone working here was super kind. Wish I lived here because I would love to visit again!

  • A modern Scandinavian cafe, with a great ambience and a perfect cafe (which is rare in my opinion). After having recommended by a gazillion friends/ co-workers I finally tried this place, (twice in 2 days ) boy the coffee didn’t disappoint at all, and was consistent. My usual cappuccino, and latte are such a perfect mix of 2 espresso shots and little amount of milk. Weekends it gets crowded, and expect ~15-30 min wait, but the service is really good and would keep going back as it’s ~10 min away from my home.

  • I’ve driven by this cafe for a couple of times and finally can try their coffee and pastries. It’s good as its look. Parking is easy to find if you go early in the morning.

  • A beautiful cafe in a pleasant neighborhood with a decent amount of parking nearby. The Nordic smoked cheese toast was tasty although a bit awkward to eat. The Kobenhavn Latte and the apple cider were quite delicious!

  • Visited recently. The aubergine sandwich and the waffle with berries were great but the Nordic cheese toast was a big miss. The cheese toast had an excessive amount of dill on it. It was just a mouthful of herbs and no other flavor. Would come back but will stick to the waffle and sandwiches.
